Republic Working day parade: Delhi Police issue site visitors advisory for modern dress rehearsal

Delhi Visitors Police has issued an advisory on the arrangements and restrictions for clean conduct of January 23’s entire gown rehearsal for the Republic Day parade.

The rehearsal will start out at 10.30 a.m. from Vijay Chowk and pass via Kartavya Route, C-Hexagon, roundabout statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and Netaji Subhash Marg before concluding at Crimson Fort.

In get to aid its smooth passage, no site visitors movement will be permitted on Kartavya Route from Vijay Chowk to India Gate from 6 p.m. on Sunday until the stop of the parade on Monday.

Commuters have been advised to avoid the parade route from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Metro companies will stay offered at all stations throughout the costume rehearsal ceremony. On the other hand, boarding and deboarding at Kendriya Sachivalaya and Udyog Bhawan stations will not be permitted from 5 a.m. till 12 p.m., in accordance to the advisory.

Although there is no restriction on movement from north Delhi to New Delhi Railway Station or Outdated Delhi Railway Station yet, the advisory has requested individuals to system their journey in progress to steer clear of possible delays.

Movement of metropolis buses will be curtailed at Park Road/Udyan Marg, Aram Bagh Road (Paharganj), Kamla Sector roundabout, Delhi Secretariat (IG Stadium), Pragati Maidan (Bhairon Highway), Hanuman Mandir (Yamuna Bazar), Mori Gate, ISBT Kashmere Gate, ISBT Sarai Kale Khan and Tis Hazari Courtroom.
