As S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR continued its profitable streak with the international blockbuster won two trophies at the Critics Decision Awards (CCA), he committed the award to his motherland India and all the girls in his lifetime who have supported him in his resourceful journey.
“To all the women in my everyday living — my mother Rajnandani — she imagined schooling was overrated and built me browse story books and comics. She inspired my creativity. My sister-in-law Srivalli, who turned a mom to me, and always encourages me to be the greatest edition of myself,” the filmmaker stated in his acceptance speech.
“My wife Rama, she is the costume designer of my movies, but more than that she is the designer of my existence — if she is not there I’m not going to be in this article today. To my daughters, they don’t do anything, but their smile is sufficient to light up my lifetime. And at last to my motherland — India, Bharat — Mera Bharat mahan! Jai Hind,” Mr. Rajamouli claimed.
The Telugu magnum opus, headlined by Ram Charan and Jr NTR, was nominated in five classes at the CCA — Best Image, Most effective Director (Rajamouli), Most effective Overseas Language film, Best Visible Effects (V. Srinivas Mohan) and Best Music (‘Naatu Naatu’).
Directed by filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli, RRR is a pre-Independence fictional story focusing on two real-everyday living Indian revolutionaries in the 1920s — Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
The foot-tapping dance range from the movie “Naatu Naatu”, which won the ‘best primary song-movement picture’ at the Golden Globes very last 7 days, was nominated for the CCA alongside “Carolina” ( Where by the Crawdads Sing), “Ciao Papa” ( Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio), “Hold My Hand” ( Leading Gun: Maverick), “Lift Me Up” ( Black Panther: Wakanda For good) and “New Entire body Rhumba” ( White Sounds).
