A next shot.
On Tuesday, March 23, Disney+ unveiled the first seem at their upcoming athletics dramedy starring John Stamos. David E. Kelley‘s Big Shot, which premieres April 16 on the streaming service, follows Marvyn Korn (Stamos), a quick-to-anger basketball mentor who has located himself coaching at an all-women non-public university. Why? Very well, as the new trailer teases under, Marvyn’s mood may’ve gotten the greatest of him in the NCAA.
“Coaches right here, they are expected to be role models,” Dean Sherilyn Thomas (Yvette Nicole Brown) warns as flashback footage demonstrates Marvyn screaming and throwing chairs. “Do not screw this up.”
Although Dean Thomas feels Marvyn’s new coaching position is “a massive mistake,” she decides to “make the very best of it.” We’re not sure Marvyn’s assistant mentor Holly (Jessalyn Gilsig) and his new crew truly feel in the same way.
“This is Westbrook,” one particular teammate informs Mentor Marvyn. “We won’t react to my way or the freeway.”
As the trailer continues, some of the staff even considers quitting in the hopes that Marvyn will get fired. But, the new mentor appears established to aid the crew increase.
